The golf course is situated in an extraordinarily splendid high valley at an elevation of more than 2,500 ft. At the foot of the Nagelfluh mountain range, nature has set the stage for a unique golfing event, providing for biotopes, rocks, springs, and old trees. Beautiful, tricky, and challenging

We played the 18 holes today and were thrilled. Despite losing at least 10 balls, the course was in excellent condition! The course is beautiful and challenging, with narrow fairways, streams crossing the fairways, and plenty of rough. On top of that, the fairways often have slopes that require some tactical thinking!

The course: Nine holes would certainly have blended perfectly into the landscape. With the 18 holes, some "tricks" were needed to fit them into the landscape: mat tees, fairways inaccessible to carts due to steep slopes, and extremely sloping hillsides that, especially on hard ground due to the heat, don't "hold" the ball – all of this makes for a less than enjoyable experience.
