The hotel is located on the outskirts of Hörnum, behind the harbor and right on the water, in an exposed and quiet location. The rooms are tastefully furnished and offer every comfort, starting with sufficient storage space in the room and in the bathroom, free minibar and many sockets for charging of mobile phones and co. at the desk. A homemade cake, macarons and fruit awaited us in the room. The breakfast at the K3 is sensational, the bartenders do a great job, even if the bar isn't exactly suitable for eating, but the bartenders really impressed us with their good humor and their knowledge, dinner at the Strönholt was served with a great view of rewarded by the North Sea. We were warmly welcomed in the lobby and every wish was read from our eyes. All in all, it was small gestures that showed us that hospitality plays a big role in this hotel.

We felt very comfortable. Despite the storm and the really uncomfortable weather, the round of golf was great fun, and on the second day even without rain. After the round, the hotel's sun terrace invites you to have a coffee, and with the ceiling, sun and sea view, it's simply super nice, the cake is delicious. Gastronomy is very commendable! The star absolutely deserves it. We had the pleasure of being able to enjoy the new menu from KAI3 as the first guest on Friday evening with wine accompaniment. Very experimental and imaginative and absolutely sensational!

We love the golf course and wanted to get there from the hotel of the same name without a long journey. The room with a sea view was particularly nice, the staff - without being intrusive - extremely helpful and courteous, even with special requests.
The location of the hotel can be problematic if the only road leading to Westerland is "congested", e.g. a significant number of return travelers. We had this problem and were stuck in a traffic jam just behind Rantum.
We booked the star cuisine twice. We don't need this "pleasure a second time. The atmosphere of the room (conversion of the breakfast room) was cold and unfriendly - for example we sat at a table of six for two because long tables were arranged throughout.
