Embedded idyllically on both sides of the Weissach, Voralberg's first 18-hole-course is situated. Situated on a sealevel of 650 m, the course offers a breathtaking panorama view from the tee-off of the coruse 18 to the Säntis. Matured since 1996, the neat fairways and greens contrast sharply with little forests and knee-deep roughs and numerous creeks and lakes make the course a real park.

The greens were aerated a few days ago - part of proper course maintenance, is fine for us - the holes were not overgrown, the putts were mostly accompanied by chance.

The distances from the green to the tee are sometimes very long and exhausting.
One encounters mostly higher greens, which are mostly below average grown.

The course leads through a VERY hilly landscape.
The fairways are good and almost always have some lateral slope. the good greens are only slightly undulating but as a whole are mostly in a slight incline (it's a matter of taste) - therefore quite tricky.
Bunker sand is playable. overall good condition. the place is doable on foot but exhausting.
in addition to the topographical challenge, demanding track designs with natural obstacles often come into play. if you want to get a good result on this pitch, you have to be fully concentrated.
conclusion: something for ambitious golfers with athletic demands.
Still not enough for a 5* rating. there would have to be reworked on the overall package (including the 19th hole).
