Embedded idyllically on both sides of the Weissach, Voralberg's first 18-hole-course is situated. Situated on a sealevel of 650 m, the course offers a breathtaking panorama view from the tee-off of the coruse 18 to the Säntis. Matured since 1996, the neat fairways and greens contrast sharply with little forests and knee-deep roughs and numerous creeks and lakes make the course a real park.

I think that being demanding is basically a good thing.
But so many blind holes aren't fun the first time. The fairways and the slow greens aren't well maintained and then (including an eTrolley and a pull trolley) I find €214 during the week to be outrageous! Especially since some of the holes are close to the road.
For that money you can and should play Sonnenalp, Oberallgäu or Ottobeuren!
At least the greenkeepers know how to behave on the tee…
However, we found the staff in the secretariat to be very friendly!

We spent a week in Vorarlberg as part of the Lionstrophy by Harrison Businesswear. The Golf Park Bregenzerwald is a beautiful facility with a great layout.
Despite the torrential rain the day before, the course was wet but in good condition.
The food in the clubhouse was also very good.

One day after Memmingen, we were pleasantly surprised here, just behind the German border. Although the structural infrastructure such as the office and "clubhouse" is not very impressive, the course itself is all the more beautiful. The driving range is located directly next to the office, 15 range balls are available for 1 euro, and the chipping area and putting green are on the way to the first tee.
And after the robotic lawnmowers of yesterday, everything here is still done as usual with lawnmowers operated by people. And you notice it straight away. Beautiful tees, low-mowed, clearly defined fairways, everything well marked, and wonderful greens that were often properly undulating, only moderately fast, but absolutely true and predictable.
For people from the flatlands of Tyrol it will of course be challenging, as it goes up and down a few times. But I find it extremely interesting and very varied, with lovely water hazards such as small lakes and streams, which makes for a very enjoyable round. For long hitters, the 5358 m from yellow are probably no challenge, but for the precise player there is a lot to gain here and a lot to lose if you lose concentration. We really enjoyed the course and this year it is also free to play with the Oberstaufen Plus card. We will be there again the day after tomorrow and are already looking forward to it.
By the way, regarding the previous criticisms about the restaurant: there has been a new tenant there for a week.
