Characteristics
Inaugurated in 1992, the Salsomaggiore Golf Club is surrounded by 70 hectares of park and garden, at 360 metres above sea level on he hills that surround the spa city of Salsomaggiore.
The course, with its 18 championship holes, lies in a green and silent valley and it is highly spectacular for both the technical level and the beauty of the scenery. Furthermore, its rippled fairways and its rapid greens allow players of every level to compete on a field that is always in excellent conditions. In the middle of the golf establishment a modern and wide Club House is equipped to satisfy every need.

Pure hospitality

If you are looking for a unique landscape, rural idyll and hospitality, this is the right place. Because a tournament was taking place on the day we had time to play the course, we just joined in. We didn't know the course, so the whole thing was a bit of an adventure. We were given a very warm welcome in the pro shop: "Benvenuti i Svizzeri". We were in a flight with two Italians who made every effort to explain the pitfalls of the often blind courses to us during the tournament. We were impressed by the scenic beauty, the peace and the exceptionally good condition of the course. We were delighted by the fast, well-maintained greens and almost flawless fairways. Only the bunkers were unplayable after heavy rain the day before. But that's really nobody's fault. The course is very hilly, but trained players can easily manage it on foot.
The clubhouse is simply but functionally furnished. And as already mentioned, hospitality is extremely important. We can recommend the course 100%. The price (60 euros per person in the partner hotel) and the service are a perfect match. This was definitely the most outstanding golf experience on our 14-day golf trip to Italy.

The place is wonderfully located and in good condition. The fairways are no longer top but absolutely good to play. Greens in very good condition. For 35, - you can go for a great round in a beautiful landscape. When playing you have to turn on the brain, because the top graph comes to a lot of difficulties. I left him - already exhausting, but doable. There are friendly staff on top of that.
