Our review applies to Hotel Villa Fiorita and not Casa Romagnosi! After a long journey, we were looking forward to the hotel. However, we were immediately and politely informed that we would have to stay elsewhere. (Apparently, it's being renovated, but we weren't informed.) The owner took us to a neighboring hotel: Villa Fiorita at Via Milano 2. We liked it very much and received a very warm welcome, were given lovely rooms, and the entire stay was very pleasant thanks to the warmth of the family and their long-serving staff!
We highly recommend this hotel. Our van was well accommodated in the large parking lot.
The golf courses were well-maintained for the time of year. Salsomaggiore was the best.
It was disappointing that only there was a hot meal available after the game!
The guesthouses you recommended should also be checked to ensure they are open at the times listed on the internet, depending on the time of year.
