Characteristics
Croara Country Club is located a few kilometres from Piacenza, on the north-eastern border of Emilia, in a hilly area influenced by the mild climate of neighbouring Liguria. The courses are half along the river Trebbia and half in the hills of the Apennines. The result is a varied game and wonderful views. The course offers 18 technically demanding holes and medium-narrow fairways, lined by oaks, chestnut trees, poplars and locust trees, as well as the course of the river. The first women's Italian Open was held here.
Closed on Tuesdays except public holidays and from 8th January to 28th January.
Tip: The medieval village and castle of Rivalta, 2 km from Croara, the castle of Agazzano and many others in the immediate vicinity. Don't miss nearby Bobbio, voted ‘most beautiful village in Italy 2019’. For lovers of equestrian sports, the golf course is adjacent to the Croara Vecchia riding school and a cosy guesthouse that is also open to golfers.

We both HCP 10 played the course on October 8th, 2020. The parkland-like complex is well maintained. The old trees narrow individual tracks. White bunkers shape the course, but there are also water hazards. The fairways are varied. The signs are correct, the quality of fairways and greens is also good. We'll be back anytime.
