Characteristics
The course is situated near the Haarstrang. The undulating terrain was skilfully integrated into the course. Broad fairways and varied greens demand different strategies for playing. In addition to that, seven pools and 60 bunkers make the course more difficult. The 9-hole course is rather tricky for beginners and everyone who wants to train playing short games.

The gently rolling landscape has been skillfully integrated into the course layout; wide fairways and varied green shapes require a variety of playing strategies, and the course is also made more difficult by seven ponds and 60 bunkers.
A very beautiful, idyllic golf course, with consistently varied holes, enjoyable to play, and never boring. The courses around the clubhouse are also slightly hilly. Robotic lawnmowers also contribute to a very well-maintained mowing pattern at this golf course.
A fun detail for anyone thirsty: Along the way, there are "hop caves" – pipes sunk into the ground with chilled drinks (payment is made at the reception after the round), both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – a very innovative idea!
After your round, you can sit comfortably on the sun terrace of the clubhouse restaurant, overlooking the putting green and the greens of holes 9 and 18.
We should really plan a visit every year. The course is top-notch, the layout is lovely, and the restaurant is also excellent – our next golf trip to Unna-Fröndenberg will definitely be soon!

We played the course on our last Sauerland short break on July 24th, 2024, more or less by chance. However, we found a real gem. Tee times are now being allocated and that's a good thing. The course itself is not too difficult but in top condition. It is incredibly beautiful and varied. A pond is not just a pond, but a small, playful lake that is worth looking back at from the green. There are not only wide, narrow and straight fairways, but each dogleg also has its own specific characteristics. Time flew by and when we were finished, we were even a little sad. The office was friendly. The course was good for beginners too. It was in good condition. We were able to play through in peace. No one in front of us, no one behind us. So it was very relaxed. On Mondays, like almost everywhere else, there were greenkeepers on the move. That's just how it is and necessary. We ate and drank well in the clubhouse. Only small campers were allowed to stay overnight, as the parking lot was manageable. We were still satisfied.
