Overall, there was a very friendly atmosphere and many of the members greeted me as a guest, which indeed is not always self-evident.
The greens were very good, the place in good condition and a lot of old trees caused a really very quiet round of golf in the middle of nature. However, the place for me was a rather typical German Golf Course: I just lacked a bit of the highlights or "Wow" effects in the design or layout. At first 9 I actually really had only the 7 and 8 in memory. The 8 but was it really a great hole, a short par 3 in which a gorge has to be played!
Overall, just not a top spot but just a well-kept place with a friendly atmosphere and a good price-performance ratio. If the space is not more than 1.5 hour from my home away, I would probably come back again.
