Designed by Rodney Wright, Tamarina 18-hole Championship Golf Course is unmatched by its layout, location and beauty. This Par 72 challenging course undulates over 43 hectares of rugged savannah land framed with mature trees and crossed by the Rempart River. The landscaping of holes and surrounds has been contracted to an international team and the holes have been specially designed to give spectacular views of Mount Rempart and the towering mountain range. Some holes have great views over the crisp blue Tamarin Bay. Golfers will love the contrast between the rough surroundings and the smoothness of the rolling greens and wide fairways that adds to the experience of Tamarina Golf Course.

The course is an interesting, challenging layout with dramatic views. However it is not well maintained and is in poor condition compared to other options such as Heritage, Anahita or Bel Mar Plage. Therefore it does not represent good value

The GC Tamarina is well maintained everywhere, has a wonderful landscape and exciting courses.
The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is good and has a beautiful bar.
The ladies could possibly play from orange (ladies), then the course would be longer and more exciting.

May 2024, played 3 times. Only paid the full green fee the first time, 5800 MUR, then got a discount later, 4930 MUR. So the price is still reasonable. The fairways are relatively wide, so the ball loss is limited, but not impossible. Fairways are good, in the semi-rough the ball tends to be "on top" so you run the risk of missing it, the bunkers are very well maintained and the greens are very fast! It's fun! However, the course is very long (6316m from the white and about 13km on foot), even between the fairways. Walking the whole way with a carry bag is pretty exhausting in these temperatures. If you're not so fit, I recommend a cart! Everyone at the reception, reception and in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful!
The views of the surrounding mountains and the nature there are truly fascinating, so I can definitely recommend the course and play it several times if you are here!
