Characteristics
The San Valentino Golf Club is situated in the middle of a 130 ha large forest and meadow area with 4 lakes. Despite the few water hazards the course is very attractive because of the hilly landscape and the considerable altitude differences between the single holes. Almost all of the very fast greens are protected by bunkers.

DON'T MISS IT

I played this course on an overcast day as the club members held a match play competition, Ryder Cup style. They welcomed me with a smile and great kindness in their magnificent and cozy clubhouse. The course has a beautiful design, despite two holes with blind starts. Tees, fairways and rough in perfect condition, as were the greens, except for one that was ruined by mole cricket. The bunkers had little sand, but all in all were playable. Exciting scenery! I really had a wonderful day, ending with an excellent lunch at the Club House Restaurant.
