Really what a disapointment. industrial food, without any inspiration. Perhaps OK for incentive groups, for sure not for holidaymakers.

I was for the 2nd time for 2 days in July to play golf in the Heckenhof resort. Golf courses are well maintained, unfortunately there is often more clover than grass on the fairways, but everything is playable. Rooms unfortunately without air conditioning, terraces and balconies without shading.
Beautiful restaurant terrace with a view of the golf courses, but no service after 10 p.m. despite the best weather. Restaurant with service opens at 18.30; That means after the round of golf you can buy bottled drinks at the bar, but you have to do without luxury like ice or even lemon in a glass, you pay almost 3 € for a 0.2l coke bottle I think the potato salad and the meatball are inferior, even the cake seems to come from the freezer.
Dinner was ok, I found the breakfast good. Service friendly and attentive, at the reception rather abrupt and cold.
Disappointing for 4 stars, bad value for money.

The clover on the fairways is absolutely in view. Unfortunately, it is not possible to fight him effectively in this weather, but everything is prepared and will be called as soon as the weather permits.
The restrictions in gastronomy were very difficult for us.
We have designed this to be a minimum (Monday-Thursday), otherwise the staff is available from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.!! to disposal.
Unfortunately, the current staffing situation in the catering trade, which you can read about in the media every day, is not leaving Gut Heckenhof unaffected either. In addition, there are always failures due to corona diseases.
Of course, this situation is not nice for the individual guest who is affected.
But with this measure we can at least satisfy the majority of all guests with the full service.
