Soma Bay Golf Club, designed by Gary Player, boasts the first Championship Course on the Western Red Sea coast, featuring 18 holes with par 72 and stunning views of lush fairways against the rugged desert and clear blue sea. Opened in 1998, this slightly undulating links/desert combination course offers a moderate to hard technical challenge, enhanced by water hazards.

El Gouna Golf Club, designed by Gene Bates and Fred Couples and opened in 1999, features an 18-hole Championship Course in excellent condition.
