Characteristics
Nestling in the gently-sloped landscape of the Upper Palatine and designed with "an American touch", this course is situated on a terrain of c. 195 acres previously used for agricultural purposes. Its remarkable architecture demands a lot of strategy and precision. The course offers a terrific panoramic view of Leuchtenberg Castle as well as first-class golf throughout the club's premises. The club is a member of the "Leading golf courses of Germany".

On July 12th I played at Schwanhof again after 10 years and I have to say it is still beautiful there. The course maintenance is top, the greens are fast and the staff are very friendly. It is a leading course. The only thing that used to be better was the catering. :-((
