Characteristics
The COLUMBIA Beach Resort has an almost idyllic charm with its low-rise buildings and distinctive architecture resembling a typical Cypriot village. Located in the sheltered bay of Pissouri on the Southern coast of Cyprus, this five-star hotel features elegant suites, luxuriously furnished with fabrics and materials that reflect the colours of the landscape, the cliffs and the Mediterranean Sea. Using local stone, wooden features and creative planting, the Beach Resort stands in harmony with its surroundings, a clever mix of old and new. Lovingly restored terracotta roof tiles, graceful arches and shutters on the windows reflect the influences of traditional Cypriot architecture. The position of the Resort on a spectacular two kilometre beach and the dense vegetation in the valleys behind the bay is especially magical. Native flora, the flowers and plants that grow in this part of the island, the white cliffs of Cape Aspro to the east of the bay and the vineyards and orchards create a very secluded setting for the hotel.

Standards slipped

This was our third time at the hotel and we felt standards had slipped a bit. Silvery good but several occasions where food and drink like warm. Two occasions where the commerce limp and actually cold. Our first night we entertained family and the food in the restaurant was poor. everyone to polite to make comment. However you are paying to dollar and expect a reasonable standard. I had chicken soulvaki which outside the hotel would be 12 euros in the hotel 29, it was dry and poor quality.
Golf excellent all courses great standard and fun to play.

Great hotel, ideal location for a golf holiday, with three courses close by, and a another opening soon in Limassol.
Dining was excellent, the bedroom room spacious. The pool area looked very attractive although we did not venture into the pool. Gym looked limited, but I am no expert in that field. Staff very very friendly and engaging.
Having visited many hotels in Cyprus this did feel like five star.
One complaint, and I raised this with the hotel, the hot food at breakfast, tepid at best. We even had eggs benedict made for us, beautifully cooked, but not hot! Ample other buffet food available, so no loss.
A couple of very good restaurants within walking distance, and a couple of low budget taverna places as well.

How do I book my trip online?
After you have received an offer, which you like, please click on the orange button "Book now". Then fill out the short questionnaire (regarding information about travellers and tee times) and send the form. After receiving your booking, we will verify the availability of the hotel. Once your stay is confirmed by the hotel (usually within one working day), you will receive our confirmation email together with an invoice for the amount due. The invoice can be paid online by credit card or by standard bank transfer. In case the hotel is not available for the requested booking period, your booking will be cancelled without any charge, and you will be informed immediately.
How can I pay for my trip?
The invoice can be paid online by credit card or by bank transfer. In the our email with your invoice you will find the link to the online payment system as well as the invoice in PDF format with our bank details.
By when do I have to pay for my trip and how much is the deposit?
The deposit is 20 percent and is due immediately. The balance is due four weeks prior departure.
How can I redeem my discount code?
You can enter the discount code from the Albrecht Golf Guide in the booking form. Alternatively, please send us your discount code by email to travel@albrecht.de, after the booking has been confirmed.
Can I cancel or rebook my trip?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Up to 35 days before departure of your trip cancellation is free of charge for you, unless there are other cancellation conditions listed on your offer and invoice. We have a few hotels that do not offer free cancellation when using an early bird discount. However, more over 90 percent of our partner hotels allow free cancellation up to 35 days before arrival. After that, staggered cancellation fees apply.
