Parklife

I’m a member here - full disclosure. I looked at a number of different courses when moving to Bonn and chose Miel because the combination of course and atmosphere was the best I found. I haven’t regretted it. Hugely friendly and welcoming staff and membership - to be honest, that’s quite different from my experience at a number of other local courses. Great restaurant. Lots of tournaments throughout the year and a strong junior golf programme for the kids. It’s smart without being snobby, which I love. Nobody is going to have an emotional breakdown if you’re in jeans, hoodie or trainers around the restaurant :-) The parkland course is always in great condition and the front nine, especially, has plenty of challenge. If I’m being picky I’d love to see a little more contour on the green complexes, a bit more technology at the otherwise excellent range (Trackman etc) and you could argue it’s a touch on the expensive side relative some nearby competitors but I genuinely don’t think you’ll mind that after a day here :-)

Very nice facility

Was fun playing here. Attractive appearance, both the square and the lock.

A day's holiday, everything is right here!

The entire ensemble of Schloss Miel is convincing! The 18-hole golf course with complete irrigation of the facility leaves nothing to be desired! In the last 10 years, the course has developed from an average golf course into one of the top roaches in the Rhineland metropolitan region!
The club manager and shareholder Thelen family and his team know their trade!
The ambience of the castle inside and outside is worth seeing! The Graf Belderbusch restaurant, as well as the two terraces directly at the restaurant and at the back of the castle with a view towards the 18th hole, leave nothing to be desired! The menu is seasonal, with classics and convinces with honest prices!
In addition to golf, there is a lot on offer here! The castle is home to a registry office, the regional cycle paths between Rheinbach, Bornheim and Bonn also let cyclists linger and lead directly past the castle!
The parking lot has its own E gas stations! Last but not least, Fam Thelen has a close partnership with the regional economy of the Cologne metropolitan region, so that many networks like to meet and the owner can also be networked if necessary!
In terms of golf, all wishes are fulfilled, with small touches such as ball pyramids on the range and, for me, the special feast for the eyes with well-kept bunkers with a specially applied stamp in the coat of arms of Miel Castle!
A day of vacation without having to leave the Rhineland!
