Great place with great gastronomy

If you want to play on a varied course and then be pampered by a fabulous restaurant, then you've come to the right place in the Eifel, not far from Cologne!
We ended our 14-day golf trip through Germany (DeinGolfplus) in Zievel. The course is in top condition, which is certainly thanks to this year's weather conditions, but also to the great greenkeeper team. Holes 9 and 18, which are played onto the terrace of the clubhouse, are also great.
The grand finale then takes place in the restaurant on the club terrace. The food is of a high standard in every respect and has nothing to hide from expensive “star cuisines”, while the prices are very reasonable.
The staff around club manager Jochen Knappertz is super friendly, helpful and competent.
We always enjoy coming back to Zievel🤩

The course has challenging par 5 lanes that are laid out in a zigzag course. Unfortunately, there are no tee boards or next tee signs, which makes it difficult for guests to play.
We were lucky enough to play with a member who could tell you the intricacies of the course. A dream are holes 9 and 18, which are to be played downhill towards the clubhouse on a peninsula green below the terrace.

The 18-hole golf course is very beautiful and varied. While the first lanes run flat along the Zievel Castle, hilly lanes follow, laid out like terraces.
Holes 9 and 18 are an absolute highlight, playing here from the forest down with a great view of the castle and the clubhouse complex.
The design of the golf courses is challenging and varied, no two courses are alike.
After the round you sit nicely in the restaurant with a view of the island green of lane 9, the quality of the dishes is excellent.
