The 100 ha large, heavenly quiet golf course is situated midway between Cologne and Bonn in the recreational area Kottenforst-Ville, in the middle of fields, forest and fruit meadows. The public training area, the golfing school and a public 18-hole tournament course spread around the completely restored estate. The Airport-Golf Sparte of the Sportgemeinschaft Flughafen Köln/Bonn e. V. has permission to play on the same course.

The first nine played by me are not very challenging. All tracks topebt with here and there a bit of water and everything very close to each other. By the end of July, the fairways are already suffering massively from the lack of rain. The four, a par 5, no longer has green areas. Here the fairway irrigation is missing at all corners and ends.
But there are also positives. To highlight are the great greens, without fungal infestation or the like, very dense and well maintained. For me, however, the grass was too high and belongs to the violent. The staff in the secretary were all super friendly, courteous and helpful.

Since the last reviews from 2016 a lot has happened: Especially in the catering industry. She is very good. perfect service, great food. To the square: The large 18-hole course is spacious, partly with long tracks, but very good to play. Nice area, but in the sun on the fairways little shade. Fairways are in good condition, greens too. Small 9-hole course rather for beginners & casual players. Driving range is generous, clear and well equipped. Will go there regularly again - also because the audience is very nice and by no means over-end.
