Characteristics
Situated at the geographical center of Italy, the Golf Club Rieti offers a serene escape at the foot of Mount Terminillo. Opened in 1997, this 9-hole Championship course (Par 35) was designed by Franco Orsini and Marcello Perotti to weave naturally through twenty hectares of ancient oak and chestnut groves. The setting is steeped in history, located adjacent to the „La Foresta“ Franciscan sanctuary. After a round on the sinuous fairways, golfers can relax by the outdoor pool or enjoy local cuisine at the clubhouse restaurant.

This is a typical Italian 9 hole course where they have used every available piece of land cleverly. Quite a few dog leg holes with the 8th very difficult. Condition of tees is not great, and flags do not fit into the holes giving a dishevelled appearance. Quite hilly. Highlight holes are 4th and 6th.
