Disappointing

Played the Championship course just before the Ryder Cup in September 2023.
A bit disappointing really. The original RTJ jr design has been butchered so the opening 6 holes or so have come from I guess the old 9 hole course. My GPS couldn’t pick these first few holes even though it’s up to date.
The course in parts is surrounded by a building site. The new club house has a cold atmosphere, no food available other than sandwiches. Its too big and corporate for my taste!
The course itself is ok but not brilliant. You get the impression that the owners are more interested in diverting what capital funds they have to the building project, very muxh to the detriment of the course. The buggypath is dangerous in places.
I won’t bother to return when next in the area. There are much better golfing experiences neatby.

Trent Jones II - well?!?

The best times are over!
The low-budget design of RTJ II.
It's obvious! An open meadow that, despite the changes in elevation, offers little in the way of memorable features. The rough is more like clover and unkempt. The greens were too slow. The staff, however, were very friendly. Simply a 3 for RTJ II. Very, very low.
We also played a few holes on the family course, which is shared with the footgolfers.
But RTJ II can also be seen on this 9-hole course!

Fine layout, everything very modern. 09/29/23

This golf course was created a little away from a small village in the countryside. The clubhouse was recently built and is very modern.
The layout of the course is very spacious, so you can deviate relatively far from the plan. Right from the start we had two very slow flights in front of us, which the ranger sorted out very quickly and we were able to play through them.
I immediately protested because we were being rushed around and were able to overtake two slow flights. Even though it started slowly, birdies on 1&2 were easy. The back nine, which is inherently easier, is much more difficult. On the course you can enjoy an extremely beautiful view of the Roman hilly hinterland.
The place is absolutely recommended. The only downside: The beer cart girl was a man.
