The back nine holes are being seeded so played the front nine only. The course was very picturesque, very tough off the back tees, and a stern test off the yellows. Fairways are quite generous but all about positioning. Very friendly in the clubhouse and proshop.

The day before, MO, rain, therefore the tee time postponed to the next day TUE. Attention was drawn to the fact that hole 7 is closed for excavation work, but that many holes are only partially playable, there was no question of that. Almost the whole place was under water. We should have been advised against the fact that you cannot play the course after rain and in late autumn. On some fairways, the lawn was only sparsely visible. Everything softened and you practically played in the deep underground.
Although it was closed on Wednesdays, no bar was open for drinks etc. on Tuesdays. No one was receptive to complaints either.
After the round there was no proper opportunity to wash the trolley or shoes. Just a hose without regulation, with a strong water jet, nothing else to clean.
No visible other players on the field. We were literally alone.
The place from the layout of the holes is interesting. With a lot of forest and varied fairways. It will therefore happen that 1. the water cannot drain off quickly enough, or the place only dries up with difficulty after rain.
Maybe you should play this course in a different season, then you could certainly enjoy it differently.

On September 23rd, 2021 we (Hcp 11 and 9) played this course. The DR is appealing and right next to tee 1. The holes are basically laid out in an interesting way, sometimes not easy to play. The quality of the fairways and next to them does not convince us. The greens are slow. There are few water hazards. In the case of several lanes, the bunkers are no longer filled with sand, but have been overgrown with grass for a long time. Thus, the display boards at the tees no longer correspond to the truth, which is a shame. The place can easily be mastered on foot with a hand trolley. We were able to play at a discount because new water pipes were laid on two lanes.
