The Golf Club Hetzenhof is idyllically situated at the foot of the Swabian Alb in an environment typical of this region with an open, slightly hilly terrain. Just a beautiful day

We played at the Hetzenhof for the first time, round A+B or Hohenstaufen+Rechberg as they are called here. Already the reception was very friendly. You also feel welcome as a guest.
The course is in very good condition, from the lush practice facility to the driving range to the lanes. 1.00 euros for 23 balls is very fair. The green fee isn't cheap, but reasonable because the course is worth it. Signage is helpful and available wherever you need it. The greens are well maintained and playable, although sometimes challenging. I don't think it's appropriate to criticize the place for its layout. If you want flat, wide lanes, then you play somewhere else and that's fine. Only the B5 track is a bit extreme and the B6 track is no fun without the necessary carry (from yellow) of 150 m. We find the slopes on half of the tracks more of a challenge than having to complain about it.
And finally, a word about the people here. Maybe we were lucky, but the member who accompanied us to the back nine was extremely friendly and we were still sitting together after the round.

The Golf Club Hetzenhof is a 27 hole course with three 9 hole loops. As a guest, I don't need start times during the week. Come and play. Even longer breaks after 9 holes are possible. Also because after 9 holes you are always at the clubhouse.
With a beautiful view of the "Three Kaiser Mountains." No hole is like the other. The Messrs. Rossknecht and Himmel did a very good job. Not easy to play due to some sloping positions. The partially poor ratings of the previous speakers (writers) seem to be due to a lack of ability. Fairways and greens always top. The gastronomy is competent and especially the drinks always came quickly. So far, every game at the Hetzenhof has been a great golf experience for me.
