The support regarding booking and travel arrangements, as well as the recommendations from Albrecht Golfreisen for our 10-day vacation from May 12th to May 22nd, 2025, were excellent. We were able to easily fit our golf equipment in two travel bags into one golf bag, including shoes and balls (approx. 22 kg), because the cost of rental clubs is very high. However, booking with Lufthansa is a bit complicated. We booked the rental car inexpensively through Check 24 with Keddy Car (a "secondary brand" of Europe Car) and got a new diesel Tiguan with automatic transmission on site for an additional €35. The service from Europe Car was excellent.
The Cervo Hotel in beautiful Porto Cervo, built in the 1960s, is obviously being renovated regularly, and we liked it a lot. It's obviously not up to date in terms of functionality and technology, and its many steps and stairs make it less suitable for people with mobility issues (no elevator). The Classic Room is a bit small by today's standards and expectations, but it's functional and lovingly and stylishly decorated. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi in the room didn't always work. The hotel and service staff are very friendly and helpful; most speak good English, but the prices in the restaurant, especially for drinks, are quite high.
A rental car is definitely recommended for exploring the scenic Costa Smeralda with its bays and villages, as well as the interior of this charming island. The beautiful, challenging Pevero golf course with spectacular views is about 10-12 km away, and thanks to the pre-season, with unlimited green fees included, we had the opportunity to play whenever we wanted. We spent 10 fantastic days, and the weather was better than forecast (approx. 18-14°C). However, it can be chilly in the evenings, and swimming in the sea is only for the most experienced. Choosing the pre-season proved to be a stroke of luck; everything was in bloom and fragrant, and we will return if possible.

How do I book my trip online?
After you have received an offer, which you like, please click on the orange button "Book now". Then fill out the short questionnaire (regarding information about travellers and tee times) and send the form. After receiving your booking, we will verify the availability of the hotel. Once your stay is confirmed by the hotel (usually within one working day), you will receive our confirmation email together with an invoice for the amount due. The invoice can be paid online by credit card or by standard bank transfer. The invoice can be paid online by credit card or by bank transfer. In the our email with your invoice you will find the link to the online payment system as well as the invoice in PDF format with our bank details.
By when do I have to pay for my trip and how much is the deposit?
The deposit is 20 percent and is due immediately. The balance is due four weeks prior departure.
How can I redeem my discount code?
You can enter the discount code from the Albrecht Golf Guide in the booking form. Alternatively, please send us your discount code by email to travel@albrecht.de, after the booking has been confirmed.
Can I cancel or rebook my trip?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Up to 35 days before departure of your trip cancellation is free of charge for you, unless there are other cancellation conditions listed on your offer and invoice. We have a few hotels that do not offer free cancellation when using an early bird discount. However, more over 90 percent of our partner hotels allow free cancellation up to 35 days before arrival. After that, staggered cancellation fees apply.
