Characteristics
With its numerous, strategically well placed sandy and water hazards, this course demands a courageous, challenging and precise game. A highlight is the hole 17, where you will be faced with the choice between a long drive over the lake or playing around the water and trying your luck with a difficult 2nd stroke onto the green. The hole 18 is situated on historic terrain - apart from the little pool you'll also play across the Limes!

The course is a compelling mixture of open opportunities and surprising hazards. Ideal for golfers of any level but a straight tee shot is always helpful.
Each hole is different with its own beauty and challenge. The course is well presented with tees, fairways and greens in great condition and water hazards a regular feature.
It's a club where you can enjoy the wonderful scenery, appreciate the clean open air and have a great day's golf which will linger long in the memory.

A beautifully situated championship course and 7-hole short course in a fantastic location on the edge of the Swabian Forest Nature Park: challenging, varied, and always impeccably maintained. Highlights include the new 4th hole with its narrow isthmus between two lakes, the undulating 9th, and the spectacular tee shot on the 17th.
The only downside is that the restaurant has been struggling for years due to frequent changes in management. But perhaps the very friendly people of Haghofen should serve more than just a shandy!

We played the course on July 15,2025.
Unfortunately, we were swayed by the comments about the steep terrain and booked a cart, which wasn't necessary at all. The course is easily playable on foot.
The condition of the entire course was perfect, as one would expect in midsummer, with hard fairways and fast greens.
There was also a friendly welcome at reception and nice encounters along the way.
We really enjoyed the round!
