Very close to the city center on the northern edge of Gothenburg resides the golf resort St. Jörgens Park. With its own hotel just by the first tee and only 15 minutes into downtown Gothenburg this is a real alternative for golfers.
The golf course opened in 1991 as a short nine-hole course, The original holes were redesigned in 1996 and another nine holes added. Today it is a full-length course with two different characters. The “old” section, which is quite narrow with very strategically placed water hazards, requires precision and thought. The newer holes are longer and slightly wider.
