Characteristics
Because of the huge sheet of water with less than 1 m in depth this golf course has characteristics, which otherwise can't be found in Italy. Actually it reminds more of the south of the USA. Because of this there are at many holes water hazards, which are by no means little ponds, rather wide sheets of water, which can have an unexpected influence on the game.

Nice and challenging golf course

We (hcp 6.1 and 19.4) played Versalia today and found the course challenging and fun to play. Lots of blind holes and water.
We will come back again.

A pleasant course with some water hazards. A few bunkers are marked blue, but otherwise the course is in very good condition. Fast greens with undulating challenges. The course has an 80s charm and almost an American club atmosphere. Very friendly staff. I'd gladly come back.

The course layout and maintenance are average, but not bad. The greens were in good condition. A unique feature is that on three holes, the out-of-bounds line extends to within about 5 meters of the green. Approach shots need to be precise. The price wasn't cheap during our off-season visit, but it was acceptable. We also stayed at the resort, and the room and food were good, with friendly staff. Parking is secure, but be careful not to park too close to the driving range, as the occasional ball tends to wander into the parking lot due to the lack of netting.
