Every year I return for my winter holidays to this fantastic resort.
The course is finally ready! Completely grassy fairways, bunkers with beautiful local sand, fast and perfect greens, and an unparalleled layout and view.
As always, the staff's hospitality is excellent, and the restaurant offers new dishes every year. The resort is also recommended as a base for playing the other beautiful courses in Maremma, as it's the northernmost and closest to the highway.

The positive: The greens were good. They should put the rest of the course in blue, this is ONLY ground under repair, including the bunker. The bunkers had waste water in them and it smelled like rotten eggs. Good thing there were markings on the tee box, otherwise we would still be looking for the tees.
The layout is quite okay. The condition of the course looked as if it had to survive for decades without water (apart from the filled cement bunkers), but it was only completed two years ago. Recommending is not an option, disappointment is guaranteed.
