The perennially playable 18-hole-golf course is arranged dreamlikely in the middle of vineyards and silver olive groves. Played in October 2017 the course was a complete mess with tee full of divots. Fairway were in poor condition as well and not mowed.
The desing of the course is also very poor with few interesting holes.
At Toscana Golf Pelagone i found good food and a welcoming staff, apart from i wouldn’t suggest coming.

I've been to Pelagone several times over the years, but I've NEVER found such a squalid, run-down, and embarrassing golf course. I'm a golfer and I go there for a weekend to practice and play. The course is literally unplayable, with almost all of it (12 of 18 holes) left neglected and in disrepair. The fairways are nonexistent, and the grass is now a distant memory. I wouldn't be so angry if: - They had notified me upon arrival (no mention of such a major problem) - I hadn't had to pay €80 (high-season green fee). Green fees are paid for courses that are absolutely immaculate and beautiful (to play on such a squalid course, I had to drive a three-hour drive; in Rome, I would have had better options on decidedly upscale courses) - They had tried to address the problem (no sign of any improvement, on the contrary!) I had the idea of a facility that was about to close. And from what some people have told me, the choice is a strategic one by the German owners. So there's not much to expect for the next few months except for things to get worse. You should be ashamed of yourself for still (today) posting photos of a golf course that WAS very beautiful and that you destroyed.

We (HCP 9 + HCP 16) played the course in October 2025.
At the golf secretariat, we were not only welcomed very warmly but also trilingually (Italian, German, English).
Afterwards we went to a spacious driving range with various practice areas.
Already on hole 1 there was an interesting layout that ran through 18 holes in a varied manner.
The fairways offered plenty of space, but if you missed them, a tight first cut and several penalty areas awaited you on your next shot.
Overall, the fairways were in very good condition. The occasional brownish tinge of the grass, common in Tuscany at this time of year, was, if anything, a visual disturbance, not a problem with the quality of the shot.
With a few exceptions, the greens were in very good condition. Because they were often undulating, they were not easy to play. Furthermore, they were always well protected by numerous bunkers.
These, in turn, were mostly in good condition and filled with sufficient sand, which does not always happen.
We had a lot of fun with the course, both from a sporting perspective and visually.
