The perennially playable 18-hole-golf course is arranged dreamlikely in the middle of vineyards and silver olive groves. Played in October 2017 the course was a complete mess with tee full of divots. Fairway were in poor condition as well and not mowed.
The desing of the course is also very poor with few interesting holes.
At Toscana Golf Pelagone i found good food and a welcoming staff, apart from i wouldn’t suggest coming.

We kept hoping (especially after the improvements three years ago with the irrigation system) that the fairways would improve... but unfortunately, we were sorely mistaken. The course is suffering; the tee boxes are barely worthy of the name anymore, the fairways, as a previous reviewer noted, are almost entirely devoid of green, and the bunkers were nothing but mud holes – no sand, nothing left. It seems like the last round on this course was played there. The whole place seems unmotivated; there's no machine or greenkeeper on the course... at least it's quiet.

The two stars are for the truly beautiful layout in a picture-perfect Tuscan landscape and the green maintenance. For everything else, I can only give zero stars. The fairways on the first five holes are the worst I've played in the last 30 years, and it doesn't get much better after that, with two or three exceptions. The bunkers don't really deserve the name. The pro shop is reminiscent of a kiosk from the last century.
It's a real shame, as the place has a lot of potential.

Unfortunately, we had major problems with the water supply in August and September (shutdown due to excessive iron content), which was beyond our control and did not leave any alternative solutions open.
