Characteristics

Established in 1974, Kalundborg Golfklub offers a unique golfing experience as Zealand's westernmost club. The 18-hole championship course (Par 70) is renowned for its hilly terrain and breathtaking dual coast views: overlooking Kalundborg Fjord to the south and Sejerø Bay to the north. The layout features two distinct loops; the back nine is particularly dramatic with deep valleys and elevated tees that demand precision. Signature challenges include the opening Par 3 played over a lake and the formidable 13th hole, requiring a long carry over water and a gorge. The round concludes with an uphill finish on the 18th towards an isolated green. Facilities include a Pay & Play Par-3 course and a welcoming clubhouse restaurant.

A beatiful hidden gem

If you like seaside golf and Scottish heathland / inland links courses, you're gonna love Kalundborg GK. This beautiful hidden gem combines them all, and I will definitely be back.

My husband and I - both still there for a relatively short time, hence HC 54 - played there yesterday. Called the day before to book tea time.
The manager came over to book us in, explain everything and also give tips on some tracks. We each also received a set of 10 long tees, a pitchfork, a pencil and a ball marker.
Some fairways were also a bit dry and brown due to the weather, but it was great to play.
Fairways are wide, the tees, except for holes 13 and 16, are also very feasible for beginners. Our lengths were not quite enough to get across the lake.
We could play as many balls as we wanted on the driving range.
Green fee was 350 crowns per person
