The 18-hole course arose on a 60 ha large, formerly agriculturally used area of the former estate Schulzenhof Gut Drechen. You may let your eyes wander over a plateau-like, mostly flat landscape with few trees that slopes down to the south-east to the remote ridge of hills Haarstrang.
