Characteristics
The Lugenhof rural estate with its 18-hole course is situated in a scenic holiday region at Lake Constance. Nestling in a gently sloped landscape, the 18 holes are ornated with fruit trees and water features and provide a terrific view of the surrounding landscape, the Alps, and Lake Constance.
Even though it is not too difficult for beginners, the course still provides experienced golfers with a testing challenge.

Top condition, really Leading Golf Club of Germany

Played the course last Sunday.
I was completely satisfied. Tees, fairways, bunkers, and greens were in excellent condition. We received very friendly service in the restaurant as well. We also enjoyed a regional dish and wines from Lake Constance. Along with Konstanz, Weißensberg, and Langenstein, it's one of the top courses in Baden-Württemberg. It's a perfect place for a vacation. Sorry, Weißensberg is Bavaria.

The course is very well-maintained and very green! It's a pleasant playable course and offers beautiful views. As previously described, it's not far short of a 5. It's not spectacular, but I find some spectacular courses, like Pinnacle in South Africa, only moderately enjoyable. You're always level and you know where you should play. The downside to a 5, for me, is the orientation; unfortunately, there are no next tee signs. If it were rated 4+, that would be fair.
