Popular golf resort on Usedom

We played the blue course on May 20,2025. Often underestimated from yellow, at just under 5,500 meters, the hilly course plays significantly longer in strong winds (which are more common here). Dry conditions combined with wind lead to hard fairways and greens. Many fairways are sloped, so longer shots are prone to bouncing into the rough. Approaching the greens also becomes challenging in average conditions. However, there are also a few shorter par 4s that offer opportunities for a good score.
The course was, as usual, well-maintained. Several improvements have been made over the years, such as paving cart paths at critical points and strategically placing additional bunkers. In May, the rough was still relatively light—balls were sometimes findable and playable. Things are certainly different in the summer.
Due to the topography, a cart is recommended for less fit golfers.
The range and chipping green are ok for a quick warm-up. Played range balls and hardly any targets on the range are not very inspiring for training purposes.
Unfortunately, the catering staff on the beautiful terrace—with a view of the golf course or the Achterwasser—was completely overwhelmed. Despite the sunny weather, the shutters were lowered at 5:30 p.m. because the staff was needed for the restaurant/dinner preparations.
Overall, the iS Golf resort on Usedom remains the clear number one. Due to the aforementioned features, the blue course remains challenging, even though the layout lacks any major highlights. There's still room for improvement in terms of training facilities and dining options.

... played for a few days in July, course well maintained, in good condition, nice fairways, but only mediocre greens, very high rough, hardly any semi-rough, so you have to stay on the fairway - the blue course is not spectacular, clear and easy, the yellow course is even easier and rather short. The short course is good. Training areas are good and sufficient! What bothered me a little is the extremely slow game on this course and the average age of the players, it feels like only golfers over 65 years old on this course, is also reflected in the associated hotel. A true golf paradise for pensioners. You can do it, but it's not a must.

Played both courses several times as a guest in mid-July/24. Nice welcome, beautiful, challenging layout, very quiet, surrounded by wonderful nature and landscape. Very well-kept course, the fairway as thick as a velvet carpet...👍, but the greens are unfortunately a bit slow.
It is still a lot of fun to play this course strategically; long hitters don't get a chance here.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is not very friendly and too expensive (a wine + a beer = 14 euros); however, the view of the Achterwasser makes up for this.
