We were actually staying in Balm and played there too (great place).
Wanted to try the Baltic Hills, never again.
Incredibly poor general condition, but the GreenFee has the same price. There was also no response to our complaint.
If we had known that the greens were partially arified and that patting was not possible properly and that the course was otherwise not in good condition, we would not have booked. The greens have a strong fungal attack.
Really annoying. To our complaint - zero response.

We were in Heringsdorf for a long weekend and went to the Baltic Hills despite the sometimes harsh reviews here.
Yes, the place or actually the entire facility could be in better condition. Regarding the driving range, all I can say is: balls and mats (both underground). The bunkers are also partly unkempt (or: it spreads in some grass). And by early June the fairways had dried up in some places (but we'll probably have to adjust to that everywhere thanks to climate change).
BUT: The place is fun (at least for us). It's really hilly and needs to be played tactically. In any case, blindly jumping on it will automatically lead to frustration. We got to know a varied and quite demanding course that we will definitely play again.

The condition of the place is really sad! The reviews/ratings seem to go nowhere.
The fact that some of the fairways have dried up and are littered with a number of bare spots (flattened molehills) is perhaps due to nature and the lack of rainfall. But there is also a lot of grass growing in the bunkers and a lot of long weeds growing on the bunker edges. Some tees look catastrophic, sometimes tee boards are missing. The greens were mostly in good condition.
The green fee of EUR 60.00 is definitely inappropriate for a place in this condition!
Very unfortunate about the otherwise beautifully designed place.
