Characteristics
The course offers a sophisticated design because of its specifically placed sandy and water hazards. The 88 bunkers alone, partly typical Irish pott bunkers, are a challenge for all players. Half of the fairways are situated in a forested area and demand a precise game because of forest aisles. The rest of the fairways run over a wavey, undulating terrain. The Golf & Country Club Zur Amtsheide e. V. had found its home on the same course.

Beautiful facility with a great restoration

The Golf Club Bad Bevensen e. V. is idyllically located in Secklendorf within a forested area near the Elbe side canal, about 3 km from the spa town of Bad Bevensen.
Not only the beautiful golf course encourages a visit, the attached gastronomy also leaves nothing to be desired. There is something for every taste on the small but fine menu. The quality of the food and the value for money is, in my opinion, beyond criticism (the objective reader will have noticed that I'm thrilled).
In addition, there is the absolutely likeable, friendly and courteous service. You just feel at home.

We experienced this really beautiful golf course in a very good condition. We were particularly impressed by the greens. The course is beautifully laid out between mature trees which makes the game interesting. We felt very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed in the secretariat. After the game on the terrace we were served very nicely. The Bad Bevensen golf course is worth a visit and we are already planning another day on this really great course.

I can only agree with the preliminary assessments of Platzcharaker. Very nicely laid out and fair to play.
But where I have to disagree is with the maintenance condition. We played the course on June 1st, 2022 and it was well maintained.
He was by far the best of our golf week up north.
Highly recommended and we were certainly not the last time there.
