Characteristics
Located between Lyon and Geneva in the distinctive Dombes region, Golf de la Bresse occupies 90 hectares of pristine former hunting grounds. Designed by Jeremy Pern in 1990, the 18-hole championship course offers a flat yet technical layout defined by alternating ponds and forests. With nine doglegs and well-defended, sloping greens, course management is key. The experience is complemented by a clubhouse set in a traditional Bressane farmhouse, featuring the "Le Jacques" restaurant, renowned for its local gastronomy and panoramic terrace overlooking the course.

Typical parkland golf course in good condition for this summer. Very attractive clubhouse with delicious food. Overall, it is very quiet and serene, space was hardly visited at fairly high temperatures, so we could turn a loose round. Layout not overly demanding, here comes from my point of view, every well over the place. Driving range is special: good punches land in the pond, bad next to it :-).

Far away one of the better golf experiences which one can treat oneself. Nice - not overly heavy - but still exciting parkland. Good greens and generally very well maintained facility. The gastronomy belongs to the best that a golf course can offer (assuming you like regional cuisine).
