Beautiful parkland course

We played A+B on 6/15/23. The course is in very good condition, although we would have gladly accepted less watering even on the fairways for ecological reasons. Really nice landscape, complete peace and although a tournament was being played at the same time, no harassed game operation at all. Overall, I would describe the course as very fair (e.g. due to wider drive landing zones), although it never gets boring. Bunkers and water hazards are well placed. Nice terrace with a view of the 18 and the 27. Very nice waitresses in the cafe and at the golf reception. Of course, the course is a bit out of the way, but you also get a nice golfing experience at a reasonable price.

We played the combination A / B on July 22nd.
A few comments on previous reviews: yes, a few, a few lanes are reminiscent of the place in Soltau. Overall, however, the space in Wümme is much more demanding. A lot of trees were placed in the drive zones of the railways. In most cases, presenting tea is the more sensible alternative. Then you have a long shot in the green. With the full length of tea, you run the risk of landing under - or near - a tree. Then it's time to chip or dub; in any case, loss of distance. Therefore, the feeling can quickly arise that the course is very long, although it is "only" approx. Measures 6,000 sts - a quite common length. In addition to the many trees, there are also plenty of water hazards. Since you can hardly distinguish from the tea fairway and semirough and the trees have been placed very loosely, you get a deceptive feeling of "harmless" space. On the way you will experience your unpleasant surprises (see above). Even if the fairways and (comparatively small) greens were quite hard, we would classify the maintenance status as good.
