Characteristics
Such a beautiful landscape is rarely expected at the fringe of the Ruhr area. The design of this beautiful golf course was made to resemble a Westphalian farm garden. The slightly undulating terrain comprises an intriguing arrangement of sand traps and water hazards. The so-called "Holtkamp Corner" from the 6th to the 9th hole is a particularly big challenge for golfers.

A parkland course between Kohlenpott and Münsterland, a jewel in an area that has been decried for decades. Played on 8.9.2018. The flat 18-hole course with mature trees and an additional short course is located near the A31 north of the Ruhr area near the Movie Park in absolute peace and nature. Some of the tracks have doglegs. Hole 6 is even a double dogleg and hole 10 feels almost 180 degrees. There are some well-placed bunkers and water hazards, including small ditches to take out of the game. The condition of the fairways and the tees was due to the hot summer a bit affected, but the greens were okay. There are probably no start times, I could play unannounced, as a single player, on Saturday afternoon relaxed. The lady at the counter was friendly. The Regelgreenfee is currently in my view by 5 to 10 € too high. Unfortunately, not necessarily golfsportfördernder way then a significant surcharge of 25 € for guests without a golden hologram. But the club is a member of the community "Golf high ten".
