This is a huge challenge and GREAT fun: the website does no justice to this course: it is hilly. Very very hilly. The difference between tee and hole can easily be 20-30m up or down or both. What a pleasure. It is a gem, hidden in the hills. Peaceful, lovely and again very very challenging. Great, great experience. And place your tee shots carefully, because the ball can end up 20-30m away from where it first hit the ground: it is THAT hilly :)

The campsite is located in the mountains, and the elevation changes reflect this. Many slopes require good strategy. I can highly recommend the campsite. Our campervan and dog were also welcome. Thanks to the owner for the warm and friendly welcome. We will definitely be back.

If you love hilly hikes through mountain landscapes in southern Emilia Romagna, this is the place for you! Golf-wise, there are long flower meadows as rough and daisy and dandelion grass as fairways. You lose balls both on and off the fairway! When we visited, two young greenkeepers immediately came out who were just having fun and racing with the lawnmowers!
Whether white, red, yellow, orange, no matter what color the ball was, nothing to be found! For the first MSL in my long golf career, I played with old yellow range balls.
Iron 7, PW, SW and putter are enough.
The greens are actually good compared to the rest! And now here's the thing: if some of the holes were made less difficult (shortened, more par 3s) and if it was well looked after, the course with its beautiful trees wouldn't be bad at all! At the moment, it's not even worth a visit, even at 2:1 and a special buggy price!
