Fun, fun challenging!

This is a huge challenge and GREAT fun: the website does no justice to this course: it is hilly. Very very hilly. The difference between tee and hole can easily be 20-30m up or down or both. What a pleasure. It is a gem, hidden in the hills. Peaceful, lovely and again very very challenging. Great, great experience. And place your tee shots carefully, because the ball can end up 20-30m away from where it first hit the ground: it is THAT hilly :)

We were allowed to play the course in the first week of September. The first 9 holes in particular suffered from the very warm last few weeks, these are also the holes where playing in all conceivable inclines is definitely not neglected. Already the reception at the club was very welcoming. The manager showed us everything and ordered us a table in the same restaurant. For the place a kart is highly recommended. The front nine are spectacular - many blind holes, sloping fairways in which the balls roll down sharply, even if one alludes to the Fw top. Often also blind to playing greens (very fast with us).
The back nine are more open, more accessible, but still not easy because often only play strategically. We have the space in early April played with viieellen daisies in the rough - the balls are almost not to be found there. A mountain place first order!
But the restaurant is worth a visit. In an old mill - the pastas are homemade and excellent, the Tagliata to the point and the wines from the region and very good. The host married couple, very welcoming.
