My favorite place in the east of Hamburg, next to Brunstorf. Wonderful peace and quiet, great layout, beautiful old trees and friendly, good restaurants. Playing here is great, but you need to be in good shape.

For me, the place is one of the 5 most beautiful places in Schleswig Holstein. However, course management and not necessarily length are important here. This refers to the extremely varied layout of the course. Which is also hilly. Added to this is the absolutely quiet location of the place. The only downer was the condition of the care. The greens were normally fast, but the fairways had suffered extremely from the weather conditions and had many bare spots.

I played in Hoisdorf for the first time three years ago. The place has developed very nicely overall.
The driving range isn't a hit - but it's obviously still being worked on.
The course itself offers some challenges. Doglegs left / right around, hilly lanes up / down. Fairways sloping left/right. At tee shot, a wood/iron is sometimes a better choice than the driver. Two tees are covered with mats, from which you have to tee off. Is in my opinion not an optimal solution. But maybe that can be changed. The greens were in great shape, moderately fast and on track. Played downhill, it is better to let your ball a little shorter so that it also comes to rest on the green. Overall, the place is a lot of fun.
The gastronomy is very good! The young staff is super friendly and the food is very good! Definitely worth staying there after the round.
Conclusion: The golf course has developed very well and will certainly get even better if you continue the work that has been started. The gastro is already way ahead!
It's definitely worth a visit - I'd love to play and stay in Hoisdorf again.
