Characteristics

The links at the Casalunga Golf Club are a pleasant, attractive, principally flat course. Technically speaking the course is 3010 metres long, par 36, and a number of holes are extremely delicate and require precise, prudent play. Nestling cosily into the lush Emilian countryside, the course winds around a picturesque lake that is regularly visited by numerous species of migratory birds. The lake was originally an old stone quarry that has since been infiltrated by underground springs. And it is this very same stone, in fact, that is used in the new Casalunga Golf & Resort structures, showing once again the care that has been taken to offer resort guests and members a sense of continuity with the local land and environment.

Fun and easy to get to!

I played nine holes today and experienced a very interesting and challenging course. The green fee of 30.00 euros is fair. But please don't expect a leading course! Some of the greens are not in such good shape! The clubhouse is inviting and so is the food. There is a very pleasant atmosphere there. The changing rooms are great!

Nice place, a bit tricky

Warm welcome from the secretary.
The place was well maintained.
The next tee is not always easy to find.
It's worth playing a round here.
Unfortunately, catering was closed.

Sensational value for money and not an easy place

Casalunga is an extremely cheap, but long and by no means uninteresting 9-hole course with all kinds of obstacles. Trees, bunkers, real water and sometimes long and hilly tracks make the course interesting to play. One should not be put off by the quality of the first fairway or some tees, which are certainly more of a very cheap course. Also, not all greens were great, but ok. We paid €25 just before sunset for 18 holes - sensationally cheap, you shouldn't expect Torrey Pines. The club is very friendly. The boss brought the logo ball he had bought to me in a cart because he couldn't find it at first. Afterwards we sat together with nice club members for a longer time. Thank you, Enrico! For every round of beer we ordered, there were pizza rolls, panini and chips, so we could save ourselves a paid dinner afterwards. We would love to come back here anytime.
