Characteristics
The links at the Casalunga Golf Club are a pleasant, attractive, principally flat course. Technically speaking the course is 3010 metres long, par 36, and a number of holes are extremely delicate and require precise, prudent play. Nestling cosily into the lush Emilian countryside, the course winds around a picturesque lake that is regularly visited by numerous species of migratory birds. The lake was originally an old stone quarry that has since been infiltrated by underground springs. And it is this very same stone, in fact, that is used in the new Casalunga Golf & Resort structures, showing once again the care that has been taken to offer resort guests and members a sense of continuity with the local land and environment.

The positive thing is that the people there are super friendly and make everything possible. The prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, the course is rather boring, and the last two holes are difficult to find due to storm damage. You can find tees and eventually a green, but it wasn't clear what belonged to what. On the 7th, all the sprinklers were running at full throttle, and the green was a lake. I wouldn't play there again if I ever went back.

I played nine holes today and experienced a very interesting and challenging course. The green fee of 30.00 euros is fair. But please don't expect a leading course! Some of the greens are not in such good shape! The clubhouse is inviting and so is the food. There is a very pleasant atmosphere there. The changing rooms are great!
