Characteristics
The 9-hole golf course is situated almost 3,300 ft above sea level and is regarded as a gem among insiders. The golfing challenges demand full concentration even though it is only too tempting to enjoy the panoramic view of the Watzmann, Kehlstein, and Berchtesgaden. Golfing experts count the course among the most beautiful in Germany, maybe the most beautiful with regard to the landscape.

Don't forget to bring your camera if you play this course. Berchtesgaden is beautifully layed out between the Alps, which you will not only see, but also feel. Lot of difference in hights. It takes some breath to get up, but once you are there it's mostly breathtaking.
Some challenging holes, some rather easy. Greens are ok, so are the facilities. Fair prices! So, if you are around, don't forget to play this one!

Golf and ski lifts

The space is shared with ski lifts, so the space has a unique selling point in addition to the magnificent panorama. The view alone does not justify the above 4 * and 5 * ratings.
The course itself is a worthwhile one - a smaller mountain tour with constant inclines, which makes a cart useful.
The offer of €79.00 for 2 green fees including cart is therefore fair.
Very nice welcome and exceptionally good greens for the end of October.

Played the course in July 22, well maintained despite the heat, challenging course as very alpine and sometimes very sloping!
Tee times do not have to be agreed, which unfortunately also means that the following flight is far too narrow.
I deducted 1 star because of the lack of drinking water points.
The restaurant was closed on Mondays and when we played another round it was completely empty, so we didn't stop there.
