The beautiful traditional course in the palace garden of Palace Klessheim, integrated between very old stock of trees, is situated only a few minutes away from the city centre of the art and culture city of Salzburg. Golf has here its very own character between quietude, elegance, tradition and nature- simply worthwhile. In 2000 the course was completely re-designed by Robert Trent Jones II.

Having already played almost all the golf courses in the Salzburg area, we stumbled upon Kleßheim by chance and were pleasantly surprised. A wonderfully maintained, challenging parkland golf course that was in excellent condition even during this summer's drought. Very good practice facilities.
The staff and members were extremely friendly, and the catering was excellent.
We'll definitely be back!

I have to completely change my assessment compared to 2016, as the course is simply stunning in its current condition. In glorious spring weather, the course presented itself with top-notch maintenance, carpeted fairways, wonderfully fast and undulating greens, and excellent bunkers with soft sand.
