Best Golf Course I have ever played

I booked myself a 18 holes round together with my two friends. We all had amazing time and the scenery is just breathtaking. I can say that this is the best golf course I have seen in a long while which I can definitely highly recommend to any golfer. Just make sure to bring plenty of sun block! during December it can be very hot and I got back to the hotel completely red :-) You can find a lot of valuable information on golf in Mauritius here: http://golf-in-mauritius. com... My wife and I (Hcp 13 and 17) played both Anahita and Illes de Cerfs in April 2024 and we liked Anahita better, but the courses are also very different.
As guests of the Shangri La Hotel, we only paid for the buggy (50€) including use of the range with balls. As everywhere in Mauritius, we received a friendly welcome.
Anahita Golf is very well maintained and very player-friendly due to the wide fairways and the landscape is a dream. There are 4 tee boxes, I played from the white and managed well, even though at 62 I am no longer a long hitter.
In contrast to Illes de Cerf, the course is very open, you can always see the course, play past the sea, embedded in incredible flora - golf enjoyment at its best.
At the end there is a nice club restaurant - what more could you want.

We played the course in December/January 2022/23. He's fantastic. The fairways are incredible, the greens are extremely fast and difficult to read, more than challenging. It wasn't for nothing that the DP World Tour was here. The view - incredible. All in all we are thrilled. A must if you play golf in Mauritius.
