Located in the scenic Stockholm archipelago on Värmdö, Fågelbro Golf & Country Club offers a complete leisure experience. The facility combines an 18-hole golf course with extensive amenities including tennis, padel, squash, a gym, and an outdoor pool. The course, a mix of parkland and woodland originally designed by Björn Eriksson, was extensively renovated by Johan Benestam between 2023 and 2025. History is ever-present, particularly at the Fågelbro Krog restaurant, housed in a wing of the estate dating back to the 18th century.

Midsummer night weekend golf

Staying at the Fågelbrohus and playing the 18holes and 9holes par 3 is a great experience. The course is well maintained and apparently some adjustments have not been updated in the Garmin mapping so you can get confused at hole 11. Practice grounds and par 3 course located a little walk from the hotel and in good shape. Water, forest and rocky barriers are every where but the course is widely set-up with hole 8 as ultimate challenge with a green as island in a bunker. Beautiful views almost everywhere.

The place is on the front nine relatively broad and generous. At the back nine but then it is much narrower, which calls for increased attention between the fairways.
The place is very varied and the fairways are relatively flat, so no problem even without Cart. Only the discounts are fairly partially increases and often quite far away on the front nine of the last greens.
The facility is well maintained and clean and the Hafway-house with a good offer. The staff in the Secretariat and to the good pro shop are very friendly as übeall.
A recommended through out Country Club.
