I played red / white.
Both courses have been well maintained and unless a shower on the 9th all has been fine.
Red has been more challenging with a lot of bunkers. White is nice to play but easy.
Generically a course for low scores in a really nice area.
The service and the food in the club house is excellent.
The hotel is worth a stay. The garden is beautyful!
So all together worth to visit.

Stayed and played at San Vigilio over a few days. The golf course was challenging for all levels of golfers in our party and was in great condition, although we found the greens surprisingly. Only negative was rather poor service in the clubhouse restaurant.

The many bad reviews almost put me off playing the course. I was all the more surprised by the top condition of all three courses (9 holes each, Solferino, San Martino, & Benaco). The fairways, tees, and greens were exemplary. The course deserves 5 stars in my opinion, if it weren't for the bunkers... The bunkers are truly underground and make normal sand play impossible; chipping is the best option here. The sand was rock hard. Furthermore, it wasn't okay that we had a tee time of 2 p.m. and weren't told that the range closed at 1 p.m. So we had to start the round without warming up.
Don't be fooled by the many bad reviews and see for yourself, as we did. The course is always worth a visit.
