Characteristics
Situated on the northern tip of Öland, Böda Sand GK offers a distinctive golfing experience set within the undulating terrain of the Böda forest. Built on naturally sandy soil, this 9-hole course (played as an 18-hole loop with a Par of 68) ensures excellent drainage and firm fairways. The layout winds through mature pines, oaks, and beeches, demanding precision over power due to narrow corridors and well-guarded, undulating greens. The signature 4th hole, a double dogleg following a natural brook, is visually stunning yet technically difficult. While operating as a Pay & Play facility welcoming all levels, the course remains a stern test. Being part of a larger resort, players have access to pools, saunas, and dining options nearby.

The 9-hole course borders directly on a campsite. The paths go beautifully through the forest. It is a little short, but two rounds are quite varied. Unfortunately, the greens are extremely slow and bumpy. For the price but all right.
