Characteristics
Blackburn Golf Club was founded in 1894 when Blackburn was at it’s height as a cotton and engineering town. The 18 hole parkland course today, with its outstanding views of the Pennine Hills and Lancashire coast is a far cry from that original course, where sheep and cattle grazed.

Visitors are welcome every day except Saturday.
Advance booking is essential.
Etiquette
Proper golf attire is required. Denim jeans and collarless t-shirts are not acceptable. Softspikes recommended.
No dogs allowed. Mobile phone not permitted on course.
GPS devices approved.
Dress Rule
The dress code for the clubhouse will, in the majority of cases, be based very much on "smart casual" as a minimum. Smart casual would be defined by 'a majority of reasonably minded people'.
Jeans (but not work/torn jeans) and Trainers (which should be clean and of smart design) may be worn in the clubhouse only .
Blackburn Golf Club hope that this rule will provide an environment where members, their families and guests plus visitors are made to feel genuinely welcome and comfortable.
On the Course Appropriate Golfing Wear should be worn.
The Following would be viewed as unacceptable:
The wearing of shirts outside trousers, Jeans, T-Shirts, sports or beach shorts, shirts with offensive designs/words, tracksuits or shell suits. The wearing of ordinary socks (normally worn with trousers) with tailored shorts. Trousers tucked into socks, shoes other than appropriate golfing footwear.
MOBILE PHONES are NOT permitted in the clubhouse or on the golf course

Juniors up to the age of 18 receive a 60% discount.
Week Days (Mon – Fri) £32.00 per round, or per day.

Saturday is the main competition day and tee times are not available.
Sundays are also competition days, however tee times are generally less restricted. Please contact the Secretary for availability
Packages for all sizes of party are available on request. Green fee reductions apply for parties greater than 20. We also offer Great Menus for your enjoyment
