Båstad Golf Club - a real "waterhole" for lovers of golf and nature. The very high class of our courses and its interesting architecture in combination with a charming view over the bay of Laholm makes Båstad Golf Club a favourite among Swedish and foreign golfers.

Played the old course in July 2022. Joined up with a couple of local members who were very friendly and good company. They confirmed that the new course is much harder so we were glad we chose the old course!
It is a great golfing set up. The course was in quite excellent condition. There are plenty of bunkers and I caught too many of them but even still, enjoyed playing the course and the bar and restaurant are also of a very high standard.
This is a great place to play and visit. The nearby town of Bastad is very smart with shops and restaurants so is also worth a visit.

Our 1st time in Bastad. We played the Old and New course, and enjoyed both. Everything is very well kept and greens are pretty good and undulating. Lots of bunkers to catch you if you don't hit the ball straight! New course there are ponds to catch you so make sure you know your yardage! Fab view of the sea on high grounds. The bar is well stock up with drinks and the restaurant serves amazing food in the lovely courtyard. Everyone is so friendly and the practice facility is superb. We will be back... :-)

When you find two very nice courses at the same Club, you always have a slight preference. Here you have the quite friendly Old Course and the hard to score New Course. Here is, perhaps the most charming clubhouse atmoswere there is in Sweden. On a fine day when the ball rolls and rolls and when the greens are at their sublime best, scores can be flattering at the Old course. If it´s a day when you are on top of your game you may well take aim at the new course. But watch up, this course bites back as a snake.
