Thought this was a great course, tricky in spots! Great welcome from all the staff …. Food was plentiful and great service with spectacular views of lough Ree.. couldn’t fault it. Will be back!

The reception was very friendly. We played on August 11th, 2024 at 11am. The course was well attended. The course has an unusual course, the rest is pleasant but not difficult. The tee shots were OK at most, the greens were blunt and slow. Wide fairways made for stress-free play. The restaurant was full (Sunday). The service was OK, but the espresso was cold. I think the previous reviews are too good.

Athlone Golf Club is a very well-kept place. Extremely hilly, wear is not a good idea! The tracks are very varied, some tracks are very tricky! Above all train 13...
